De Fazio, Salvatore "Sam" Ralph ~ peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at Juravinski Hospital, Hamilton after a long, brave battle with cancer on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at the age of 75.. Beloved husband of 44 years to Maria (Martino) De Fazio. Loving father of Nadia (Jeremy) Verstraete and John (Pam) De Fazio. Nonno will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandson Mason De Fazio. Dear brother of Erminia (Tony) Fabrizi, Lauretta (the late Luigi) Fabrizi. Predeceased by brother Leonardo and sister Maria (the late Giovanni) Spadafora. Special brother-in-law of Rita Marano, the late Gina, survived by husband Nicola Vitale and Leonardo (Tina) Martino. Sam worked for General Motors for 30 years retiring in 1993. He loved gardening, making wine and word search puzzles but the most important thing in Sam's life was his family and he enjoyed it most when the whole family was together.
