Dawn Heather Sowrey

Sowrey, Dawn Heather ~ peacefully, after fighting a long and courageous battle with cancer, Heather passed away surrounded by her family on Friday, October 15, 2010. Loving best friend of Kris Robinson of Thorold. Cherished mother of Valerie (Tom) of Welland, Elizabeth of St. Catharines and Ricky of Welland. Loved by her nephews and nieces Darla and Dan, Mary (Mellon) and Tony, Sarah and Rob, along with Michael, Billy, James, Vincenzo, Kevin, Victoria and many other nephews and nieces. Heather will be missed by her brothers and sisters Sheila, Bob and Eve, Bill and Carol, Bev and Gord, Faith and Bob. She will also be missed by her feathered companion Joni. Predeceased by her parents Harry and Louisa, her sister Bernice and her nephew Christopher (Boo Boo). Special thanks to Dr. E. Kouros, Dr. Brian Findlay and all staff of the St. Catharines General Hospital. Thanks to the nurses from the oncology floor and Heather's PSW, her special girl, Maria.
