Southwick, David Wray ~ it is with heavy hearts that our family announces the sudden passing of our beloved husband, father and papa in his 70th year. Loving and devoted husband of Elsie. "Favourite" father of Denise (Gary), David Jr. (Amy) of Tillsonburg and Steven (Brenda) of Stevensville. Very much loved papa of Meagan and Kristen Gardell, and Sara and Emily Southwick and Ali Flinsenberg. Dave was predeceased by his parents Lloyd and Loretta and younger brother Richard. Dear brother of Lloyd, Patricia and Susan. Also left to mourn his gentle spirit, are many in-laws, nieces and nephews. Dave's quiet public demeanour belied his keen sense of humour that provided continual enjoyment to the many he became close to. His humour was surpassed only by his kindness, generosity and devotion to family. Dedicated throughout a hard working life, his short retirement years were filled with fishing with grandchildren, deer hunting with son David, ATV riding with Steven, gardening with Denise, driving the children's train at the Seaway Mall and long winter vacations with the love of his life, Elsie, in Florida. Papa's spirit has not left us and never will. We all hold dear a tender spot in our hearts reserved just for him. The many loves and lessons that he has left us with will continue on. Forever loved and cherished…………..Until we meet again.
