MAURO, Corrado - At St. Michaels Hospital, Toronto, on Wednesday, April 13, 2016. Corrado Mauro, formerly of Thorold, in his 57th year. Beloved son of Joseph and Eugina Mauro. Dear brother of Ralph Mauro (Cheryl) and the late Jerry Mauro. Nephew of Vince Mauro (Nadia), Lina (the late Frank Mauro), Helen (the late Antonio Mauro), and the late Aldo & Antonietta Mauro, Carmen & Emily Mazza, Eugenio & Ida Citrigno, Agata (Vincenzo Turnone) and Mary & Eugenio Pizzo. Corrado will also be missed by many cousins and friends. A special thank you to the Doctor's and staff of Seaton House and St. Michael's Hospital in Toronto for your care and compassion during Corrado's stay with each of you. Friends will be received at the BOCCHINFUSO FUNERAL HOME, 2 Regent Street, Thorold, from 2:00 - 4:00 & 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. on Friday, April 15, 2016 with Vigil Prayers recited at 3:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 21 Queen Street South, Thorold, on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. Rite of Committal will take place at Lakeview Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to the Schizophrenia Society or to the Canadian Mental Health Association, would be appreciated by the family.
