LA FRATTA, Consiglia - After a long and healthy life, our mother left us peacefully on Monday, December 28, 2020. A dedicated member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church. Consiglia (Borsella) of Niagara Falls, formerly of Thorold in her 101st year. Wife of the late Liberato La Fratta. Dear mother of Lina Cimino (late Domenic), Mike La Fratta (late Dory), Victor La Fratta (Lena), Claudia Pignotti (Felix), Mario La Fratta (Lina) and Pat La Fratta (Letizia). Dear stepmother to John La Fratta (late Marinova), Joe La Fratta (late Maria) and the late Carmela Mascione (late Antonio) and the late Lucia DiFelice (late Elio). Cherished Nonna of 16 grandchildren: Maria Dobrint (David), Piero Cimino, Sara Muehlenbeck (Andrew), Elizabeth La Fratta, Paul La Fratta (Theresa), Daniela DiPaola (Franco), Stephanie La Fratta (Cameron), Peter Pignotti, Bianca Scala (Jordan), Cristina La Fratta (Dan), Rebecca Serra (Fabian), Matthew, Mark, Marina LaFratta, Victoria and Erika LaFratta and 9 great grandchildren. Daughter of the late Ferdinando and Pasquala Borsella. Pre-deceased by her siblings Loreta (late Liberato La Fratta), Giovanni Borsella, Leopoldo Borsella and Nicola Borsella. Zia Consiglia will also be missed by several nieces and nephews. A private family visitation was held at BOCCHINFUSO FUNERAL HOME, 2 Regent St., Thorold and Funeral Mass has been celebrated at OUR LADY OF THE HOLY ROSARY CHURCH, 21 Queen St., Thorold, with the Rite of Committal at Lakeview Cemetery. "Our mother had a gentle soul. She was a dedicated mother, and her family was her life. She was always hospitable, and she loved to have her friends over for a cup of coffee. We will miss her very much and she will always be in our hearts". We would like to thank the Oakwood Lodge and the dedicated staff for the love and care given to our mother.
