Smith, Clifford William "Bill" ~ at his residence in Thorold, on Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at the age of 95. Beloved husband of 28 years to Helen (Clark) Smith. Survived by his first wife Edith Adelstein. Loving father of Brian (Alice) Smith, Lauren (Barry Hodgson) Smith, Shelley (Curtis) Smith-Johnson and step father of Debbie (Ric) Borozny, Marilyn (Barry) Keown, Judy (Brent) Funk, Barbara (Marty) Goddard and Douglas (Tracy) Kyer. Papa will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Andrew (Cathy) Smith, Terri-Lynn (Bryan) Waugh, Anna Garrittsen, Nathan (Katie) Garrittsen, step papa of 17 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Ted (Joyce) Smith, Joyce (Bill) Yarr and Ruth (the late Jim) Hill. Predeceased by sisters Catherine (the late Peter) Damude, Betty (the late Tom) McDonald and brother Donald (the late Joan) Smith. Bill was a WWII Veteran with the R.H.L.I. He owned and operated his own company (Safer Chemicals) where he worked until he was 80 years young.
