COOK, CLIFFORD JOSEPH (Cliff was a proud veteran of WWII and a life member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #138 (Merritton) and #127 (Grimsby). He was a retiree from GM, happily retired longer than he worked). It is with great sorrow that the family announces his passing at the Niagara Health System - St. Catharines Site, on August 7th 2016 in his 91st year.
Predeceased by his parents Walter and Bertha. Loving husband of Jean (predeceased 2009). He will be sadly missed and remember fondly by his children, Pepper (Doug), Dale (Sharon), Cheryl (Al), Helen (Bob, predeceased), Penny, Tim, Jackie, Kathy. Grandkids Chris, Nicole, Aimee, Jennifer, Travis, Kathleen, Tyler, Paul Jr., Jason, Ashley, Matthew, Kyle, Curtis, Kyra. Great Grandpa to Bradley, Lucy, Mitchell and Liberty. Brother to Bernice (Nicky), Dorothy (Dot, predeceased), and John (Jack, predeceased). Also missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins & "Dennis the Menace". Friends will be received at the BOCCHINFUSO FUNERAL HOME, 2 Regent Street, Thorold, from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Thursday, August 11, 2016, with a Royal Canadian Legion Service held at 6:45 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, August 12, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. If desired, memorial donations to Special Olympics Ontario (Central Bruce Chapter), or to the Lincoln Humane Society, would be appreciated by the family.
