LUCCIOLA, CLELIA

Clelia was lovingly surrounded by her family when she was reunited in heaven with her beloved Eduardo Lucciola, on Monday, September 22, 2025 in her 93rd year. Devoted mother to Tony (Maggie Hildebrand), Rocco, Mario (Kim) and Bridget (Troy Peacock). Cherished Nona to Amanda (Mike Dowd), Melissa (Stuart Levitt), Rocco Jr. (Missy Kenyeres), Eddie (Emily), Kory, Alissa (Ryan Ward) and Jordan; and great grandchildren Dylann, Lyla, Lincoln, Xander, Eli and Sutton. She will be fondly remembered by her sister, Antoinette Savoia and her brother, Armand DiFruscio. Clelia was predeceased by her parents, Angela and Onesto DiFruscio, as well as her siblings Rocco (Lucy) DiFruscio, Carmela DiFruscio, and Eugene Savoia. She is also mourned by many nieces, nephews, and cousins locally, in Montreal, England and Italy. Clelia’s kindness was evident in her many baked goods for friends and family, food for the neighborhood stray animals, and her yearly donations to Saint Cosmas and Damian. Her independent nature and determined spirit never wavered and were with her until the end. Visitors will be received at Bocchinfuso Funeral Home 2 Regent Street, Thorold on Thursday, September 25, 2025 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM, when the Funeral Liturgy Outside of Mass will be held in the Lamb Chapel of the Funeral Home.
