Clayton Joseph Clouthier

Clouthier, Clayton Joseph ~ peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at Hospice Niagara on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at the age of 77. Beloved husband of the late June Clouthier (May 25, 2003). Loving father to Linda (John) Campbell and the late Nancy Savard (1996). Papa will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Clayton (Denise) Kollee, John (Taryn) Campbell, Jeff Campbell, and Joey Savard, and by his great grandsons Evan and Clayton Kollee. Dear brother of June Heggart, Ellen (Ray) Davidson, Francis Clouthier, Claire (the late David) Allen, and Gail (Peter) Fekette. Pre-deceased by parents Felix and Marie Clouthier and by sisters Lillian Clouthier, Audrey March and Phyllis Carberry. Clayton will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He worked as an electrician for Canal Marine, retiring in 2001 and was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local Union # 303 for 36 years, where he held the positions of President and Treasurer throughout his tenure. Clayton was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. #138, Merritton. He loved playing cribbage at the Summit Place Tavern in Thorold with his friends and team-mates "The Anglers" on Monday evenings.
