MERRICK, CALEB DANIEL “CJ” – Unexpectedly, CJ passed away at his home on Saturday, September 12, 2026, just months after celebrating his 33rd birthday. CJ was the cherished son of Tammy and the beloved brother of Rebekah and Hannah. He was a proud and devoted uncle to David Berketo, with whom he loved spending time. CJ was the treasured grandson of Diana Willis and Ron (Karen) Willis and will be lovingly remembered by his large extended family, many friends and neighbours. CJ was known for his quick wit and wonderful sense of humour. He was polite, respectful, kind-hearted, and always willing to lend a helping hand, often volunteering before being asked. He enjoyed tinkering with cars and bicycles and found great satisfaction in fixing things and helping others. CJ also enjoyed spending time with his sister Rebekah's beloved dog, Honey, and could often be found taking her for walks. CJ had a passion for rap music, and those who knew him best will smile knowing that ice cream was a staple at nearly every meal. His generous spirit, warm heart, and ability to make people laugh will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
