Catherine Oblinsky

Oblinsky, Catherine ~ peacefully, with her loving and close family by her side at Tufford Nursing Home, St. Catharines on Friday, February 8, 2008 in her 99th year. Catherine was a devoted, loving and caring daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Beloved wife of the late George Oblinsky (1998). Loving mother of Gary (Carmelina) Oblinsky and Ronald (Grace) Oblinsky. Grandma Kay will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Daniel and David Oblinsky, Ronald Oblinsky, Carolyn (Colin) Schneider and Debbie Aberdein and many great grandchildren. Dear sister of Nicholas (Lena) Pavlove and John (Mary) Pavloff. Catherine is predeceased by her parents William and Annie Pavloff, brothers Tony and Alex, infant sister Mary and sister-in-law Gladys Anderson. She will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. Catherine was born on the family farm in Arlee, Saskatchewan and then came to Ontario where she met and married her husband, George. Grandma Kay will be remembered for her hospitality, garden, flowers, delicious pies and perogies. A special thank you to the staff at Tufford Nursing Home for their excellent care shown to Kay.
