TIMMONS, HELEN CARMEL (formerly O'Brien) – (née MacPherson) It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mom on Friday, October 11, 2024 at West Hills Care Centre, St Catharines, in her 91st year. Mom will be forever missed by her children Deborah (Donny), Gladys (Larry), Patricia, Kathleen (Terry) and Paul (the late Catharine). Nanny to Christopher (Andrew), Michael (Lara), Kyle, Kaitlyn, Levi (Janine), Jessica (Jason), Jenna and PJ, and predeceased by grandson Stephen. Great Nanny to Katherine, Matthew, David, Emily, Ethan, Titan, Wyatt, Adaline, Coulson, Isabelle, Liam and Jamieson. Mom was born and raised in a loving family in New Waterford, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. She is survived by her sisters Theresa (the late Greg) and Lorraine but was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Myrtle; siblings Joe D (surviving spouse Norma), Chrissy (Teddy), Vincie (surviving spouse Shirley) and Rita. Mom will be remembered with love by her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mom loved music, gardening, cooking and baking – even winning "Best Baker" award while living at Thorold Seniors – but her family were the most important. Her joy was visiting with them and talking over a Tim Horton's coffee. Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 21 Queen Street South, Thorold on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at 1:00 PM.
