Brian Peter Cook

COOK, BRIAN PETER: On Thursday, November 16, 2017, Brian passed away, leaving behind his wife and best friend, Dawn of 42 years, along with his much-loved fur-baby Bailey. Lovingly remembered by father -in-law Peter Jackson; sisters-in-law Anna (Nelson) Lacroix and Susan (Mario) Spiewak. Missed by nieces and nephews Jacqueline (Todd) Eden, Garrett Lacroix, Rachel (Jason Chafe) Spiewak and Shawn Spiewak and great nephews Kyle, Carson, Ayden, Kalan and Keegan Brian. Predeceased by parents Margaret and Alfred, mother-in-law Eva and brother-in-law Paul. Brian emigrated from England in 1971, worked for (McDonnell Douglas) Boeing Aircraft for 26 years and after retirement worked for Performance Cars/ BMW St. Catharines. Brian had many interests, including holding his private pilot's licence and racing open wheel race cars. He was an avid gardener and enjoyed many hours at the Warplane Heritage Museum. A private family celebration of life will be held. Donations in Brian's memory may be made to the Walker Family Cancer Centre or the Canadian Mental Health Association and would be appreciated by the family.
