DAMIANO, BEVERLEY - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Beverley Damiano (née Downes) who passed away after a lengthy illness at the age of 70. Loving mother to Paul (Stephanie) Damiano, Jennifer (Dino) Bussi. Forever proud and loving Nanna to Eric, Kaitlyn, Megan, James and Matthew. Her grandchildren will always hold a special place in their hearts for her. She will be dearly missed by her sister Sandra Bissonnette and will be fondly remembered by her mother-in-law Joanne Damiano and her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Mike (Teresa), Rosemary, Nina (Steve), Ninette (John) and Anthony (Dawn). Cherished aunt to her many nieces and nephews. Bev was known for her warm personality and cheerful nature, which she carried with her wherever she went. She was an avid animal lover and felt deeply about animal rights. She had a passion for crocheting, gardening and baking, especially homemade pies. She never failed to bring a smile to those around her. Her family and friends will always cherish the memories they shared with her. Her unwavering kindness and generosity towards others will be forever remembered, as she was always willing to help others in need. Her legacy will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her. Family was of the utmost importance to Bev and she took pride in making her house a caring and loving place for her friends and family. Beverley will be welcomed into Heaven by her late husband Pat Damiano, her mother and father James and Phyllis Downes, her father in-law Nicola Damiano and her nephew Fred Bissonnette. Beverley’s family will receive family and friends at BOCCHINFUSO FUNERAL HOME 2 Regent Street, Thorold on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 -8:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 6, 2023 at ST. JOHN’S CHURCH THOROLD 12 Carleton Street, South, Thorold at 11:00 AM. Interment Victoria Lawn Cemetery.
