ALLEN, Barbara Anne Surrounded by her loving family, Barbara passed away suddenly on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at the St. Catharines General Hospital, at the age of 73. Beloved mother of Kimberley Leckie (Terry Wilson) and David Allen. Loving Nana of Raymond (Julia) Maude, Joshua (Jill) Maude, Alexander (Lindsey) Hummerston, Hailey Hummerston, Devlyn Lorraine and also proud great-grandmother of 7. Dear sister of the late John Joss, Robert Joss, Ron (Joanne) Joss, the late Marilyn (Eddy) Carpenter and cherished sister-in-law of Jean Taylor. Barbara will be greatly missed by her many nieces, nephews and friends. Barbara worked for 27 years at Pinty's in St. Catharines, retiring in 2008. Barbara enjoyed her retirement and she also adored her cat, Tiffany. In accordance with Barbara's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Barbara's Life will be held in the BOCCHINFUSO FUNERAL HOME, 2 Regent Street, Thorold, on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at 12 p.m. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. An inurnment will be held in the springtime at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations may be given to the Lincoln County Humane Society.
