Arthur Woodhouse

Woodhouse, Arthur "Woody" ~ at the Greater Niagara General Hospital, Niagara Falls, on Sunday, September 23, 2012 at the age of 92. Beloved husband of the late Peggy Woodhouse (Feb. 15, 2000). Loving father of Pauline (Bob) DeGuire, Mal (Judy) Woodhouse, Lorna (Lorne) Chadwick, Craig (Irene) Woodhouse and Michelle Marcus. Gramps will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Robert (Debbie), Jamie (Gina), Terri-Lynn, Krista (Todd), Nathan, Darla (Murray), David (Catherine), Darrin, Bianca and Michael and by his 11 great grandchildren. Predeceased by brothers Fred (Verna), John (Jan), Alfred (Hilda) and George (Mary) and sister Clara (Fred). Art worked for General Motors for 42 years, retiring in 1987. He was a veteran of WWII, a member of the St. Catharines Aquarium Society, proud member of the C.A.W. Local #199 (G.M. Union), involved with the Umpire Association, a member of the Moose Lodge, an avid fisherman and loved to bowl.
