Arnold Burke

BURKE, Arnold ~ surrounded by his loving family, at the St. Catharines Hospital, on Monday, February 24, 2014 at the age of 82. Beloved husband of 60 years to Betty (Winstanley) Burke. Loving father of Sheila (Dennis) L'Ecuyer, Heather Swayze, Janet (Wade) MacDonald, Wendy (Jim) English, Bruce (Sandy) Burke, David (Annette) Burke and special daughter-in-law Kim Burke. Grandpa/Pa will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren D.J., Rebecca, Jennifer, Ricky, Sarah, Sherri, Laura, Ty and Teagan and by his great grandchildren Naomi, Lucas, Owen, Mya, Autumn and Blake. Predeceased by a grandson Jacob Burke. Dear brother of Dolores Despres, Stanley Burke, Mildred White and Patsy Mallet. Special son-in-law of Winnie (the late David) Winstanley. Arnold will also be missed by his many coffee buddies, Bobby, Larry, Nelson and special friend Bernie. He was a machine operator for Kelsey Hayes for 40 years, retiring in 1989. A special thank you to the nurses and staff at the St. Catharines Hospital, Emergency Care, 5th Floor 5B for all their care and compassion.
