VENDITTI, ANTONIO - With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Antonio at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Friday, January 9, 2026 at the age of 93. He was beloved by his wife Giovanna “Nina” (née D’Onofrio) with whom he spent over 68 wonderful years. He was loved by his children Eva (Claude) Hebert, Carlo (Karen) Venditti, Rina (Henry) D’Angela, and Janey (Vernon) Bellows. Adored Papa of Holly (Matt) Morneau, Trevor (Emma) Hebert, Samantha (Frank) Girhiny, Adam Venditti, Zachary Bellows, Julie D’Angela, Jacob (Angelique) Bellows, Kyle D’Angela. The sparkle of Big Papa’s eye were his great grandchildren Silas, Cora, Francesca, Mabel, Theo, Sofie, and Amiyah.

He is survived by his sisters-in-law Grace (Nick) Mancini and Maria Venditti. He is predeceased by his parents Carmine and Primitiva Venditti and his siblings Nunziatina (Nunzio) Molinaro, Gregorio (Grazia) Venditti, Maria (Vincenzo) Scalzi, Nicola Venditti and his brother-in-law Antonio (Ida) D’Onofrio. He will be missed by his many nieces and nephews. To his core, Papa was a family man and nothing made him happier than having his friends and family around him as much as possible.

Antonio will be remembered as a familiar and beloved presence around town, known for his daily walks, his love of sunshine, tending to his garden and the joy he found during his time in Florida. Visitors will be received at BOCCHINFUSO FUNERAL HOME 2 Regent Street, Thorold on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 PM. Funeral Liturgy Outside of Mass will be celebrated in the Lamb Chapel of the funeral home on Wednesday at 11:00 AM. Rite of committal Pleasantview Memorial Gardens.
