Antonio Perna

Perna, Antonio "Tony" ~ passed away peacefully, with his wife at his side, at home on Wednesday, September 28, 2011 in his 79th year. Beloved husband of 50 years to Raffaela (Saracino) Perna. Loving father of Mike, Angie, Anna (Steven) Charlton, Nancy and Sam (Shannon). Nonno will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Bronson, Savannah, Jaegar, Scarlett, James, Anthony, Alexandria, Zach, Nathan and by his great grandson Jameel. Dear brother of Nancy (the late Joe) Cugino, Giovanna (the late Gino) Garofalo, Giuseppina (Tony) Giufredo of Italy and brothers-in-law Giovanni (Anna) Saracino, Tony (Maria) Saracino of Italy and Ben (Lucy) Saracino of Australia. Predeceased by brother Frank (Maria) Perna and sister Carolina survived by her husband Leonardo Tota of Italy and sisters-in-law Maria Antoinette (Tony) Mossuto and Rosa Saracino. Tony will also be missed by many nieces and nephews in Canada, Italy and Australia. He was a man who enjoyed the simple pleasures of family, especially his grandchildren and he loved spending time tending to his garden.
