Antonio Fabrizi

FABRIZI, Antonio "Tony" - Peacefully passed away on Sunday, December 9, 2018 at Extendicare St. Catharines. Antonio Fabrizi was born April 7, 1924 in Castelliri, Frosinone, Lazio, Italy. Tony was the devoted husband to his loving wife Erminia "Emily" for 65 years. Caring father to Anna (Dave) Fiala of Edmonton, Alberta and the late Josephine. Father-in-law to Rocco Rossi of Ajax, Ontario. Tony's joy was found in his four grandchildren: Phillip Rossi (Rebecca "Becky") of Manotick, Ontario, Matthew Rossi of Toronto, Jonathan Rossi of California, USA and Sabrina Rossi of Toronto, and his three great grandsons: Nolan, Joseph and Harrison. Tony was the last of nine siblings, and is survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins and extended family members. He was predeceased by his parents Pasquale and Maria. Tony was a master gardener, winemaker and provider for his family. Special thanks to Extendicare St. Catharines for their compassionate care and service that brought out the best in Tony. Family and friends will be received at BOCCHINFUSO FUNERAL HOME 2 Regent Street, Thorold on Friday, December 14, 2018 from 2:00 - 4:00 PM and 7:00 - 9:00 PM. Vigil prayers will be recited at 7:30 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 9:30 AM at ST. JULIA'S CATHOLIC CHURCH 251 Glenridge Avenue, St. Catharines. Rite of Committal to follow at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens.
