GAZZELLONE, Anselmo - At the Niagara Health System - St. Catharines site, on Wednesday, August 8, 2018. Anselmo Gazzellone of Thorold in his 89th year. Beloved husband of Angela (Patriarca). Dear father of Mary (James Ciancio) and Tony Gazzellone. Loving nonno to Christina Ciancio (Steven Roach) and Jamie Ciancio and great nonno of Matthew and Caitlin Roach. Brother of Felicia (Saverio Pecchia), Mario Gazzellone (the late Angelina), Vencenzo Gazzellone (Addolorata) and sister-in-law Michelina. Predeceased by his brother Antonio Gazzellone, Casimiro Gazzellone (Maria Assunta) and his sister Filomena (Ugo Grossi). Anselmo will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Anselmo had retired from the Ontario Paper Mill after 25 years of service and was a faithful member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church as well as a member of the Italian Association.
