TACKABERRY, ANNE - It is with broken hearts we announce the passing of our Mother, Mimi, Great Mimi and Friend. Anne better known as Mimi to all was loved beyond words. She was caring, loving, sarcastic, stubborn, happy, loyal and so much more. She loved spending time with her family, whether it be the annual camping trips, a random pop by or one of the many family events. Always the first to show up (usually an hour early) she was everyone's biggest supporter. She will be forever missed by her daughters Denise (Nick) Palomba and Diane (Mark) Betzold, along with her step children Angelena, Scott, Gregory, Loretta, Wendy and Samantha. Mimi was one of a kind and had a heart of gold. One of her greatest joys came from watching her grandchildren and great grandchildren grow. She was blessed to be surrounded by so many of them and she will be forever remembered by all her grandchildren: Big Michael, Jennifer, Shelley, Little Michael, Stephanie, Nicholas, Coralee, Aurora, Lejla and Rosie, and great grandchildren: Zachary, Anthony, Liliana and Dominic, along with her many grandchildren and extended family in Manitoba. We take comfort in knowing she is finally reunited with her love Gregory Tackaberry. She may be gone but her memory will live on. She has left us all with a million memories, laughs, tears and some head smack moments. Her sarcastic wit, caring heart and genuine smile will forever be engrained in our hearts. This is not goodbye but instead until we meet again.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at BOCCHINFUSO FUNERAL HOME 2 Regent Street in Thorold from 12:00 - 2:00 PM immediately followed by a funeral service in the Lamb Chapel.
