Anne Chidley

Chidley, Anne ~ (1926 - 2010) Sadly, on Thursday March 11, 2010, Anne Chidley passed away in St. Catharines. Anne was the beloved wife of Rod Chidley, who passed away in June 2009. Anne and Rod were married for 63 wonderful years. They treasured each other, were best friends and remained as committed to each in their last years together as they were when they first met in Montreal in 1944. Anne was a wise, loving and supportive mother and will be forever missed by her three children, Wendy (Peter) Joseph, Bill (Ellen) Chidley and Cathy (Mel) Spagnuolo. She was a doting and fun loving grandmother who enriched the lives of each of her grandchildren and great grandchildren with her wisdom, her love and her terrific sense of humour, Sandi (Kevin), Bob (Emily), Katie, Jennie, Kayla and Dylan. Predeceased by grandson Christopher and parents William and Joan Harvie. Anne enjoyed a long and successful career with the TD Bank. She loved knitting, bowling, curling, travelling and music. She had a passion for her dogs and all other pets. Anne's sense of humour and her wit made family events lively and fun. She was well loved and well respected by all who had the privilege of knowing her. The family would like to thank Dr. Boily and Maria, her personal support worker Patty as well as nurses Judy and Darryl.
