Anna Skowronski

SKOWRONSKI, Anna After a brief battle with cancer, Anna passed away on Monday, September 26, 2016, at Henley House, where she had received excellent care during her time there. She was predeceased by her husband John, daughters Jean and Mari. She is survived by her son Dennis (Gail), grandchildren Brenda (Ralph) Damiano, Tanya (Joe) Bonazza, David Skowronski; great- grandchildren Ryan, Natasha, Marc, Deanna, and great-great- grandchildren Myla, Alexandra and Gianna. She was a self-reliant, feisty and strong willed Ukrainian woman, who reached her 98th year. As many others did, she came to Canada during the "Great Depression", married, raised a family while working at a number of different jobs to help make ends meet and with her husband, developed a wide circle of friends and acquaintances. Mom (Baba) will be missed. In accordance with her wishes, cremation and a family service has taken place. Arrangements were entrusted with the BOCCHINFUSO FUNERAL HOME.
