Anna Elizabeth Doherty

DOHERTY, ANNA Elizabeth, (née Hazley), passed away August 14th, 2022, in her 92nd year. Anna was the loving wife to the late James, loving mother to the late Jim (Linda), and Anne (Jon). She was a wonderful Granny to Margaret (Colin), Jim (Kristen), Gillian (Filippo), and Shannon (Greg). Very proud Great Granny to Sloane, Parker, Rhys, Walker, Quinn, and a very special "GG" to her namesake, Hazleigh. Anna was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, she grew up as a twin, and one of 12 children of Joseph and Agnes Hazley. She moved to Canada in 1973 with her husband and children and embraced the Canadian way of life. She retired early and thoroughly enjoyed spending time with family, especially her grand and great-grandchildren. She will always be remembered for her quick wit, keen sense of humor, and her quirky antics. Best of all, she lived beyond her "29 and a wee bit" years, with love and laughter. Her life and memory have been celebrated with her immediate family in a private service.
