LANESE, ANDREW JOSEPH March10, 1997 to March 30, 2022 It is with broken hearts that the family of Andrew Lanese announce his sudden passing on Wednesday March 30, 2022. Andrew will be sadly missed by his parents, Nick and Sonia and his brother Brad. Beloved grandson to Nick and Clara Iamonaco and the late Giuseppe and Mariannina Lanese. Lovingly remembered by his aunts and uncles Antoinette Popoli, Joe and Jennifer Lanese, Dan and Luisa Iamonaco, Linda and Barry Summers and also his many cousins. Andrew was diagnosed with Hunter Syndrome at a very young age. He showed remarkable strength and courage fighting the devastating effects of this disease. Andrew greeted everyone with an infectious smile, he loved all sports, gatherings with family and friends, especially meals at his grandparents. Special thanks to Dr. Dooler, Dr. Zuliani, nurses Laurie and Helen for their care and support. Family will receive friends at the BOCCHINFUSO FUNERAL HOME 2 Regent Street, Thorold on Monday from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. and from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Vigil Prayers will be recited at 7:00 P.M. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at OUR LADY OF THE HOLY ROSARY CHURCH 21 Queen Street South, Thorold on Tuesday April 5, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. Rite of Committal Lakeview Cemetery, Thorold. Donations in Andrew’s memory can be made to The Hospital for Sick Children or to Tender Wishes. Those attending are asked by the family to wear a mask as a courtesy to others.
