Alice Mildred Porter

Porter, Alice Mildred ~ peacefully, at the Stevenson Memorial Hospital, Alliston, ON, on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at the age of 86. Beloved wife of the late Dave "Stump" Porter (1981). Loving mother of David (Christine) and Norm (Karen). Predeceased by son Lawson and daughters Barbara, Dorothy and Melinda survived by her husband Charlie "Binnie". Granny and Nanners will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her 8 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Dear sister of David (Ronalda) Cann. Predeceased by sisters Catharine Cann, Leona Roberts and Judy Cann and by brothers Harold (the late Rita), Robert (the late Shirley) and Gorden survived by his wife Nell. Mildred was born and raised in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia.
