Alfredo Vigna

VIGNA, Alfredo ~ it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, Alfredo in his 86th year. Surrounded by his family, at the Greater Niagara General Hospital, on Sunday, March 31, 2013, Dad left us to be with his heavenly Father, after a long life filled with courage, determination, love and dedication to his family. Beloved husband of the late Lena Vigna (May 8, 1986). Loving father of John, Dan (Pam), Susan and Frank (Vittoria). Cherished grandpa of Frankie Jr. Predeceased by parents Giovanni and Assuntina, sister Rosina, brother Francesco and sister-in-law Gina. Dear brother of Elvira (Italy). Alfredo is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He worked for the Abitibi Paper Co. for 36 years, retiring in 1985. A heartfelt thank you to the outstanding, caring and compassionate staff at the G.N.G.H., C1 Unit.
