GITTINGS, Aileen - Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at Oakwood Park Lodge, Niagara Falls, on Friday, April 26, 2019. Aileen (Mawer) of Thorold, in her 95th year. Wife of the late William Gittings. Dear mother of Maurice Gittings, Stephen Gittings (Donna), Elaine (John D'Amico) and Susan (Edward Pendykoski). Loving grandmother to Kristin (Shaun Kimpel), Robert D'Amico (Paula), Gregory Pendykoski (Sarah), Sarah Gittings (Brian), Katherine Gittings (Jeff), Matthew Gittings (Danielle) and great grandmother of Haley & Jacob Kimpel, Landan Parks, Emily & Anna Reeves, Evelyn Graham, Leila & Alessandro D'Amico and the late Amy Kimpel. Sister of Hilda Deakin of Australia, the late Charlie, Dorothy Pollard and William. Aunt Aileen will also be missed by several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the PSW's, Nurses & staff of Oakwood Park Lodge for their compassionate care shown to Mum. A private family service will take place at the BOCCHINFUSO FUNERAL HOME, 2 Regent Street, Thorold, followed by inurnment at Lakeview Cemetery.
