Agostino Falovo

Falovo, Agostino ~ surrounded by his loving family at the Port Colborne General Hospital on Wednesday, January 21, 2009 at the age of 80. Beloved husband of 57 years to Immacolata (D'Ammizio) Falovo. Loving father of Lundina Linney (John Cooze), the late Ben Falovo (December 12, 2008) and Nancy Falovo. Nonno will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Alana (Brandon) Wood, Carlos (Kathy) Falovo, Sherrie (Dean) Clark, Jesse Linney and Leah Rosetti and by his great grandchildren Briar Anne and Austin Benjamin Wood. Dear brother of Fiorino (Maria) Falovo and brother-in-law of Antonio (Michelina) D'Ammizio. Predeceased by parents Raffaele and Vincenza Falovo, parents-in-law Pietro and Donata D'Ammizio and brothers-in-law Rocco survived by his wife Angela D'Ammizio, Vincenzo survived by his wife Maria D'Ammizio, Domenico survived by his wife Rocca D'Ammizio, Addolorata D'Ammizio, Frank (the late Concetta) D'Ammizio, Domenica (the late Egidio) Del Duca. Agostino will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Agostino immigrated to Canada from Terelle, Italy in 1951 and worked at the Ontario Paper Mill until his retirement in 1991. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, Thorold. A very special thank you to Dr. Aleksiejuk and the nurses at the Port Colborne Hospital for their care and compassion.
